ANSUL® SAPPHIRE® Clean-Agent Fire Suppression Systems are clean-agent fire suppression systems that are designed for use in protecting against fire hazards in occupied or non-occupied where electronic or other equipment is sensitive, and might be damaged by water sprinkler, mist, or other fire suppression agents. These sophisticated fire safety systems are particularly useful for suppressing fires in hazards where an electrically non-conductive medium is essential or desirable, where clean up of other agents presents a problem, or where the hazard is normally occupied and requires a non-toxic agent. The ANSUL® SAPPHIRE® Clean-Agent Fire Suppression System utilizes 3M Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid as the suppression agent.
Fire Safety Systems for Semiconductor Equipment
Tripp Baker has been a part of the KFPI team since January of 2013. Tripp was born and raised in the greater Dallas area of the State of Texas. He is based out of our corporate office in Dallas, where he serves as a Technical Designer of our fire safety systems.
Why even bother having a fire safety system, if it’s not going to work? Why buy one if it is going to become defective in a few months’ time? At KFPI, we realize how bothersome fire safety systems can be. We understand how challenging it is to maintain a semiconductor process line. Having to worry about a fire safety system is an added responsibility that few people desire to shoulder. We get it! We really do. But please don’t underestimate the importance of having one, and having one that works.
We design, install, and certify fire safety systems that are custom engineered for the specific tool upon which they are to be used. KFPI’s fire safety solutions are guaranteed to function as intended, and to comply with SEMI, NFPA, FM, and all local fire safety requirements, anywhere in the world.

High purity metalorganic precursors are widely used in semiconductor manufacturing, in the production of integrated circuits and devices. These once exotic chemistries are now a standard part of various doping and deposition processes. Semiconductor-grade metalorganics are highly-refined for use as precursors in silicon and compound semiconductor industry processes.
KFPI designs, installs, and certifies engineered fire protection systems for semiconductor process tools. KFPI is an authorized distributor of the leading brands of fire suppression systems for semiconductor applications, including Hatsuta, Ansul, Kidde, and Minimax.
